GBH Law advise Q3 on purchase of Newtons Group Limited - GBH Law

GBH Law’s corporate team, led by Kate Doody, was delighted to work with boutique FM company Q3 on the recent acquisition of Newtons Group Limited, a London and south-east based company delivering mechanical and engineering (M&E) and associated hard building services.

The acquisition of the Newtons Group introduces a technical services offering that complements Q3’s existing, soft-service expertise, enabling Q3 to provide an enhanced and more complete range of self-delivered FM services to the clients of both organisations.

Commenting on the acquisition, Martyn Freeman CEO of Q3 said: “This is a major strategic step in our progress to becoming a significant player in the FM sector, strengthening our range of service lines and capabilities, and moving us up to the next level where we want to be.”

Newtons Group Ltd will retain its trading name within the Q3 Group and Harry Leeson will continue to run the operation as Managing Director.  Leeson said: “We are looking forward to embracing the values of the Q3 organisation and working with the team to help realise the company’s future ambitions.”

Kate Doody, who has advised Q3 since joining GBH Law in 2019, commented: “It was a real pleasure to work with the Q3 team on this acquisition.  It is an exciting time for Q3 and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for the group.”
