Laura Brennand

Laura is a solicitor specialising in corporate and commercial law at GBH Law. Having completed her training contract with the firm, she gained experience across a range of practice areas including commercial property, litigation, corporate and commercial, and employment law, before qualifying into her current role.

Prior to qualification, Laura built a strong foundation through nearly five years of experience in private practice, working across multiple legal disciplines. This breadth of exposure has equipped her with a well-rounded, practical approach and a versatile skill set that she brings to her work with clients.

Alongside her professional practice, Laura is a Legal Mentor with the University of Law’s Legal Mentoring Scheme. In this role, she provides one-to-one support to law students, offering guidance on examinations, applications, and career development, and helping mentees build confidence as they progress towards legal practice.

Laura holds an LLB from the University of Strathclyde. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), followed by a combined Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws (LPC LLM), at the University of Law.
